Audit Log


The Audit Log displays the actions taken against a specific clients details for a specified period of time. It displays what changes were made and who made them to the currently active client in the Client Details form. If the All Records tick box is used then all Client Detail changes will be displayed. It only includes the changes that occurred on the current computer.

Select the time period for the actions to be displayed.
The longer the period of time chosen, the longer it will take for the records to display.

Tick this box to include changes to ALL client records for the time period choosen.
The longer the period of time chosen, the longer it will take for the records to display.

Click Go to start the record search

Results Pane

4. Results Pane
The Results Pane displays the results of the search.
The columns can be grouped and sorted in the usual way. This may be particularily useful if there are a large number of records in the results.
 
Item
The field that was changed e.g. Address
Action
The type of change made:
I = Insert e.g add a row
U = Update e.g. change the value in a field
D = Delete e.g. delete a row
Date/Time
The date and time that the change was made
Field
The database field name
Original Value
What the field was originally
New Value
What the field was changed to
User
The person (login) that carried out the change.

Use the Close button or the top X to close the Window.
